On November 4, 2010, 18-year-old Lloyd Payne was shot and killed near his home on Mallon Road in Dorchester, Boston. The shooting occurred around 1:20 p.m. while Payne was driving his recently purchased green sedan. A gunshot hit Payne as he drove, causing his car to roll into a fenced parking area on Bullard Street. Payne was rushed to Boston Medical Center, but he was pronounced dead shortly after.
