Coby Bridgeman, a 29-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on July 23, 2013, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. when Bridgeman was outside in the 5600 block of West Washington Boulevard. According to reports, three men approached Bridgeman, and one of them pulled out a handgun and shot him in the head.
