Jerome Wood, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 3, 2013, in the West Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Known to friends and family as "J Money," Wood was shot in the head around 2 p.m. while he was in the 6600 block of South Rhodes Avenue.
