Fredrick A. Michels, a 34-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on January 4, 2014, in Rock Falls, Illinois. Fredrick, who was born on December 26, 1979, in Sterling, Illinois, worked as a journeyman welder at Allert in Clinton, Iowa. He was known for his love of fishing, boating, hunting, and participating in demolition derbies, affectionately referred to as "Fredneck" racing by his friends and family.
