On the night of April 18, 2012, 20-year-old Dametri J. Jones was fatally shot outside a Price Rite supermarket located at 871 River Street in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood. The shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m., and Jones was quickly transported to Boston Medical Center in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
