Nicole Loving, a 23-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 9, 2014, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred during a domestic-related shooting on the city's Southwest Side. On that fateful day, 36-year-old Edward Prince fatally shot Nicole Loving, his girlfriend Laquisha Hickman, and then turned the gun on himself. The shooting took place in a home located in the 3500 block of West 79th Street, where Prince had held several individuals hostage.
