Jimero Starling, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on July 3, 2014, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred early in the morning as Starling and his friends were riding their bicycles west on Division Street after leaving a party. They were approached by a group of individuals who identified themselves as members of the Latin Kings gang.
