Torrente G. Pickens, a 37-year-old African American male, was found shot to death in an SUV on October 6, 2014, in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East 44th Street. Pickens had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:32 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office identified him as a resident of the 3400 block of South King Drive.
