The victim, Mauro Jose Martin, 37, a Hispanic/Latino male, was fatally shot in Chicago on the morning of October 25, 2025. He and another man were traveling in a red Dodge Charger through West Humboldt Park when gunfire erupted around 5:20 a.m. in the 4400 block of West Augusta Boulevard.
