Johan "Lil John-Dooney" Rowe Jr., a 20-year-old African American male from Kankakee, Illinois, tragically lost his life on October 26, 2014. Johan was fatally shot following an argument. The incident occurred near a park where Johan and a group of people, including the suspect, Edgar Watkins, were congregating. According to reports, Johan and Watkins had a previous altercation about ten days earlier, during which Watkins had also brandished a firearm.
