Elpidia Munoz-Garcia, a 33-year-old woman from Waukegan, IL, was tragically shot and killed on January 2, 2015. The incident occurred at Bueno's Bar, a local establishment she co-owned. Munoz-Garcia, who was of Mexican descent, was found with a gunshot wound to the face. The shooting happened around 1:10 a.m., and she was pronounced dead shortly after.
