Giovanni Matos, a 16-year-old male from Chicago, IL, was tragically shot and killed on March 15, 2015. The incident occurred in the Portage Park neighborhood while Giovanni was walking with two friends. The three teenagers, all members of a street gang, were approached by a vehicle. One of the passengers, later identified as 21-year-old Antwan Elliott, exited the vehicle and inquired about their gang affiliation.
