Rajesh Madala, a 35-year-old Indian American male, was tragically killed on April 6, 2015, during a robbery at the Auto Gas Station in Bay View Gardens, Illinois. Madala, who was working as an attendant at the gas station, was shot and killed by the suspect during the robbery. The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Robert McGrane, was quickly identified by the authorities thanks to an overwhelming public response to the release of surveillance footage from the gas station.
