Kelvin L. Davis, a 24-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on May 1, 2015, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred on the street, and his body was discovered at a friend's apartment on June 3, 2015. Unfortunately, due to a misspelling of his name as "Kevin" instead of "Kelvin," his body remained unclaimed in the Cook County Morgue for six weeks.
