Briona O. White, a 22-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on August 6, 2015, in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Briona was a promising student at Kansas State University, where she was studying to become an orthodontist. She was home for the summer and preparing to return to school when her life was abruptly cut short.
