SjonTre Thompson, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on August 23, 2015, in Joliet, Illinois. Thompson was found dead on Englewood Avenue early that Sunday morning. He was sitting in a car with a 28-year-old woman when they were ambushed by gunmen who raked the vehicle with bullets.
