Dr. Margaret Shanahan, a 65-year-old Caucasian woman, was found dead on June 18, 2016, in her Hyde Park home in Chicago, IL. She was a prominent Jungian psychotherapist, well-regarded in her field. Her death was the result of a gunshot wound to the head, and it was ruled a homicide.
