George Korchev, a 22-year-old male from Mundelein, Illinois, was tragically killed in a shooting near the University of Illinois in Champaign on September 25, 2016. Korchev, who was of Caucasian ethnicity, was a bystander caught in the crossfire of a violent altercation that erupted from an argument at a nearby apartment party.
