Aaron M. Smith, a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on October 12, 2016, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, IL. According to reports, Smith was standing on the street at approximately 11:10 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Chappel when he heard gunshots and realized he had been struck.
