Javon Wilson, a 15-year-old African American male from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost his life on November 18, 2016. The incident occurred following an argument over a pair of basketball shoes. Javon, the grandson of U.S. Representative Danny Davis, was at home when two teenagers, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl, forced their way into his house.
