African American female, 8-year-old Dajore Ahqueen Wilson was shot and killed on September 7, 2020, in Chicago's Canaryville neighborhood while riding in a family Subaru SUV with her mother and two other adults.
Stopped at the light at 47th Street and South Union Avenue around early evening, the family's vehicle was trailed by a black sedan that, according to police, intentionally targeted someone inside; when the light turned green, the sedan opened fire.
