On December 3, 1983, 3-month-old April Nicole Williams was abducted from a bus station in Washington, D.C. while traveling with her mother, Eleanor Marie Williams, from Suffolk, Virginia to Junction City, Kansas. During a layover at the Trailways bus station, an unknown woman, who called herself Latoya, approached Eleanor and asked to hold April. After Eleanor allowed her to do so, Latoya left with the baby, claiming she was going to buy a soda or change April's diaper. She never returned, ...
