Ronald L. Allen, a 73-year-old African American man from Naperville, IL, was fatally shot on December 2, 2016, while driving in the 1300 block of North Laramie Avenue in Chicago's Austin neighborhood. Allen had been returning home after spending the evening playing cards and socializing with friends. The tragic incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., and Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.
