Denzell Dixson, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on September 24, 2020, due to complications from a gunshot wound he sustained five years earlier. On October 6, 2015, Denzell was shot in the neck in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Kostner Avenue. Despite receiving medical attention, the injuries he sustained ultimately led to his death years later.
