Joshua Jamerson, a 34-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2017, in Rockford, Illinois. Joshua was shot to death early that morning at the Cliffbreakers Riverside Hotel & Conference Center. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. during a large fight that erupted in a fourth-floor hallway.
