James Miller, a 21-year-old African American male from Park Forest, Illinois, was fatally shot on May 30, 2017, in Dolton, Illinois. The incident occurred near a currency exchange in the 15000 block of Michigan City Road. According to police reports, officers nearby heard gunshots and discovered that Miller had been shot by an unknown assailant.
