Martrell Swanson, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2020, in Dolton, Illinois. Swanson, who resided in St. Paul, Minnesota, was visiting Dolton when he was fatally shot in the head just before midnight. The incident occurred in the 14600 block of Princeton Avenue. Following the shooting, Swanson was transported to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, where he succumbed to his injuries.
