In the autumn of 1969, Catherine Cesnik, a 26-year-old Caucasian female and a beloved Catholic nun and teacher, vanished from her life in Halethorpe, Maryland. On the evening of November 7, she left her apartment to run errands, including purchasing an engagement gift for her sister. This simple act of familial love would be her last known activity.
