Derrick Murray, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 13, 2017, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 12:20 p.m. when Derrick was walking in the 4600 block of West Augusta Boulevard. A red, four-door vehicle pulled up beside him, and three individuals exited the car, opening fire while a fourth person remained in the driver's seat.
