Johnny Klerma, a 25-year-old male from Chicago, was fatally shot in Calumet City, Illinois, on July 17, 2017. The incident occurred around midnight in the 1600 block of State Street. Officers responding to a call of shots fired found Klerma with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:19 a.m. by the Cook County medical examiner's office. His death was ruled a homicide.
