Wesley Getter, a 23-year-old male, tragically lost his life on August 10, 2017, in Calumet City, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1:52 a.m. when officers and EMS personnel responded to a report of a gunshot victim on the 1200 block of Memorial Drive. Upon arrival, they found Wesley Getter shot near his home. He was immediately taken to Saint Margaret's Franciscan Health in Hammond, Indiana, where he was pronounced dead at 2:16 a.m. The Lake County coroner's office confirmed that Getter die ...
