Tyrell Dorsey, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 26, 2017, in Rockford, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Royal Avenue, where officers found Dorsey suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
