Gregory Petty, a 34-year-old African American male from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed on September 29, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago. Petty was found unresponsive on the porch of a home in the 2200 block of South Kildare Avenue, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries less than an hour later.
