Quiantez Fair, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in East St. Louis, Illinois, on October 2, 2017. His death was part of a larger wave of violence that plagued the city that year, with law enforcement officials struggling to solve many of the homicides. The St. Clair County state's attorney, Brendan Kelly, held a news conference urging the public to come forward with any information that could help solve Fair's murder and other unsolved cases in the city.
