Kerwin Williams, a 35-year-old African American male from East St. Louis, Illinois, tragically lost his life on November 14, 2017. He was the son of Kinnis Williams Sr., the president of the East St. Louis School District board. Kerwin was shot and killed on the 1100 block of Cleveland Avenue in East St. Louis. The Illinois State Police confirmed that he was pronounced dead at the scene.
