Patrick James Stegmueller Jr., a 35-year-old man from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on October 3, 2017. The incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. in the 3300 block of South Damen Avenue in the McKinley Park neighborhood. Stegmueller Jr. was walking when he was shot in the neck by a person in a passing green SUV. He was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital less than an hour after the shooting.
