Gerald Taylor, a 25-year-old African American male from Chicago, was tragically shot and killed on October 14, 2017, in Danville, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Campbell Lane, located in the Fair Oaks Public Housing area. Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Taylor at the scene. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
