Hakeem "HK" Murray, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 24, 2017, in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. when officers responded to a call of shots fired and found Murray lying on the ground in the 6400 block of South Calumet Avenue.
