Dontae Simmons, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, Simmons was involved in an argument with another individual around 9 a.m. in the 1100 block of East 73rd Street.
