On December 13, 2017, Earron D. Moore, a 25-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood. At approximately 10:16 a.m., while standing near the street in the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue, Moore was targeted by an assailant who fired from a passing vehicle.
