Zebulun Wright, a 39-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 20, 2019, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 7300 block of South Union Avenue. According to police reports, Wright was standing outside when an unknown assailant approached and opened fire, striking him multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and the case has been classified as a homicide.
