Laedd T. Jones-Tazrell, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 18, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning when Laedd and another individual were standing on a sidewalk in the 1500 block of West 80th Street. Suddenly, gunfire erupted, and both men were struck by bullets. Laedd T. Jones-Tazrell succumbed to his injuries, while the other individual survived but was wounded.
