Mario Mullens, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 5, 2018, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Mario was shot multiple times in the chest by two unidentified assailants at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Pulaski Road. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the attack.
