Steven Alexander Jr., an 18-year-old Black male, was shot and killed shortly after 1 a.m. on June 10, 2018, during a large gathering outside an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Orchard Street in Bloomington, Illinois.
A second young life, 20-year-old Taneshiea Brown, was also lost, and two others, Kenleia Sims and Tyree Jones, were wounded but survived.
