Taniyah Williams, a 20-year-old African American woman from Danville, Illinois, was tragically found dead on July 5, 2018. She was discovered in her home on Lape Street alongside LaTrey Reed, a 21-year-old male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The discovery was made after a call to the police reported an unresponsive male lying on the floor.
