Jamie Stephens, a 31-year-old male from Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois, was found murdered on December 7, 2018. His body was discovered on December 10, 2018, in a line of trees near the 9200 block of Knapp Road, close to Edwards Apple Orchard West. The autopsy revealed that Jamie died from multiple gunshot wounds, including two to his side. It is believed that his body was intentionally dumped at the location where it was found.
