Lundy S. Blue, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 18, 2019, in East St. Louis, Illinois. The incident occurred at approximately 10:48 PM at the MetroLink Station located at 5th and Missouri Avenue. Deputies were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting either on the platform or on the train. Lundy S. Blue was found nearby and was immediately transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
