Lowell Randy Oitker, a 64-year-old white male from Plainville, Illinois, was found dead on April 1, 2019, at his home. The Adams County Sheriff's Department received a report of a shooting around 6:30 PM that evening. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that Oitker had died from a single gunshot wound to the chest. The Illinois State Police Forensic Team assisted in collecting physical evidence from the scene, and several individuals present at the scene were taken to the Adams County Sheriff’s ...
