David Stockstill Jr., a 28-year-old African American male from Carbondale, Illinois, tragically passed away on April 6, 2016, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. His death was the result of injuries sustained from a shooting incident that occurred over two months prior. The incident left him critically injured, and despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
