Calvin Choice, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 1, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Calvin Choice and another victim, 18-year-old Gwaine Brown, were standing outside a store in the 700 block of South Cicero Avenue around 8:15 p.m. when an unknown assailant approached and opened fire.
